Julia and Chuck had the absolute perfect fall wedding at Philander Chase Knox Estate in Valley Forge. Pa. The historic estate sits on the rolling green meadows that once housed General George Washington’s army during the revolutionary war. The estate’s beautiful bridal suite was perfect for Julia to get ready surrounded by her closest friends. I loved her fall color palette of rich blues and greys, perfect for the historic venue. Blue Moon florist provided one of my favorite bouquets of the season, with dark reds, deep purples and cool greys, perfect with the bridesmaid’s lavendar bouquets. Their rustic fall cake was also covered in flowers and succulents, and I couldn’t resist using it for a couple of ring shots.
Highlights of the day definitely included their amazing dog, Cavanaugh, who I remain deeply in love with. He was there for bride and groom prep, the ceremony and photos and he was absolutely perfect. Julia had a sweet first look with her dad before the ceremony, and of course the perfect fall wedding wouldn’t have been complete without a stunning sunset, just as we had a few minutes for bride and groom portraits. It was an absolutely beautiful day, and I am deeply grateful to have been part of it.
