Marian and Conner’s classic Union League wedding was an absolute joy to be part of. The Union League is one of those iconic Philly buildings that people pass on Broad Street all the time, but I wonder how many have actually been inside. It’s a building rich with history and filled with warm wood, tall windows, antique paintings and one of the most beautiful libraries I’ve ever been fortunate enough to photograph.
Marian’s parents were wed at Union League many years ago, so it was a special place for the family. We were able to recreate one of their parents wedding photos, which is always a request that I’m thrilled to do. I adored Marian’s classic gown from Elizabeth Johns Bridal Boutique. Her monochromatic bouquet from Poppy Flowers was absolutely lovely against it. The bridesmaids in black were an elegant touch just perfect for a elegant Union League wedding in Center City Philadelphia. Marian and Conner were so much more about enjoying their day to the fullest instead of filling every moment of the day with photos, that I couldn’t even drag them off the dance floor for a night shot. I loved every single minute of documenting their beautiful love story.
