Amanda and Ambrose’s joyous Delaware wedding was the perfect example of how to not sweat the small stuff! I’m happy to shoot in any sort of weather, but there is a difference between a soft pretty rain, and a total washout. This was quite the monsoon storm of a day. Amanda took every bit of it in stride and rolled with the punches. Her day was so full of amazing friends and family that they chose not to spend a ton of time fighting the elements for photos. They wanted to get right to their reception and enjoy the fabulous party, so that’s exactly what we did! I feel very fortunate to have been part of their wedding day.
Amanda’s Delaware wedding bridal prep and ceremony were both held at the Sheraton Wilmington South. The bridal suite is large and lovely and Amanda was an absolutely stunningly beautiful bride. Surrounded by her closest friends and mom, the laughter was infectious and the champagne was flowing!

Jump Back to ListThe couple were married at their church in Delaware, The Seeds of Greatness Ministries and Bible Church in New Castle. It’s a lovely congregation filled with love and support. And can we just talk about Ambrose’s suit that perfectly matched the background? Seriously a photographers dream!

This Delaware wedding at the Sheraton Wilmington South is the perfect place to have a wedding! These are all so beautiful! That cry the groom had when he saw his bride- loved it!!! I love your work!
Okay those groom's tears already got me emotional! What a beautiful wedding. From the ceremony in New Castle (with seriously awesome uplighting/ backlight there!) to the reception at the Sheraton Wilmington South it looked like a picture perfect wedding day. You lit them perfectly for their dances and portraits... and I HAVE to mention how much I love that option to jump in the blog to a specific section! HOW COOL.
I love how you captured all of those intimate moments with the wedding couple and their guests. I'm so glad the bride didn't let rain ruin her day. She genuinely looks like she was having a blast. I particularly love the shots with each bridesmaid and the bride. I don't see that often, but she chose each of those ladies to stand with her so they should have something to remember that day that isn't a typical group shot. The wedding couple chose their venues perfectly. I think the lighting and decor suited each stage of the wedding. Soft bright lights in the Sheraton Wilmington South hotel room, The New Castle formal blue that matched the groom's suit, and the sparkly purple that screamed fun at the Sheraton for the reception. Excellent wedding Photography as always!
Such a beautiful wedding. They look like they had a fun reception.
Even though it rained on their wedding day they are so lucky to have had such a skilled wedding photographer like you because you got some really great portraits that don't look like the wedding was all inside. I love the reaction you captured of the groom first seeing his bride walking down the aisle. Really beautiful work!
This is such an emotional wedding captured beautifull by Black White and Raw Photography. The Sheraton Wilmington South looks like an awesome wedding venue!
You never cease to amaze me with your work! The Sheraton Wilmington South is a gorgeous venue and you captured it beautifully! Anyone in Philadelphia would be lucky to have you as their wedding photographer!
