Katie and Juan were recently married at one of my newest favorite locations, The Grounds for Sculpure, in Hamilton, New Jersey. A 42 acre sculpture park, the grounds and artwork are nothing short of amazing. Katie and her love were wed among Carlos Dorrien’s famed piece “The Nine Muses”, followed by a short walk across the grounds where guests were treated to an intimate reception at Rat’s Restaurant. We don’t have photos of the lunch, as we were invited to a wedding photographers dream, a real table and a spectacular country french luncheon, overlooking a beautiful lake, transporting you back in time to one of Monet’s paintings of Giverny. Katie’s homemade touches were gorgeous and included a beaded bouquet, and tiny purple paper flowers everywhere. After the festivities were over, we were allowed one hour to roam the grounds for a romantic photo walk. One of Katie’s “must have” photos included her with one of the ground’s wild peacocks. Luckily one was patient enough to oblige our lovely bride. Congratulations Katie and Juan, and thank you for allowing us to capture your day!
